Easter is approaching and my daughter has been very busy in lots of crafts, so I thought of sharing some with you. They are ideal for preschoolers so the kind I like: easy, keep the kids occupied for a while and don’t need much assistance.
- Easter Tree
What you will need:
- Cherry tree branches (or any other kind)
- White plastic eggs
- Paint and glitter
Kids paint the plastic eggs as they prefer and then decorate the branches. Apparently these branches are supposed to blossom with wonderful white flowers, but last year we weren’t so lucky L
Let’s see this year!
- Graphic paper eggs
This is the favorite of my daughter: she invented the different patterns and spends hours cutting and gluing!
- Colored paper
Cut the paper in the shape of an egg, ovals of different sizes. Cut stripes out of colorful paper. Glue the strips to the ovals and trim the borders.
We will make a garland out of all these eggs, but you can use them also to decorate the Easter tree.
With a similar technique these are two cards my daughter made at school: how nice are they? J
- Carton Easter basket
Every kid will need a basket to hunt all the chocolate eggs around the garden! So here there is my daughter’s version J
- Cereals box
Stickers, beads, any kind of decoration
I cut the box doing a kind of undulate pattern on the top, fixed the handle with the puncher and gave it to my daughter. She painted it in rainbow colors and then decorated it with a rabbit drawing and different stickers J
There you are: a house full of Easter decorations!!
HAVE FUN J
