Here there is our little tours of Luxembourg a small, very green and kids friendly Country J
There really many playgrounds in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, outdoor and indoor. Our favorites are the ones where the kids can bike, like the one in Capellen (see here for the full description) or the ones with lots of climbing opportunities.
The indoor playgrounds have an entry fees and they have climbing jungles, ideal for the wet Luxembourgish winters.
- Local mode of transportation
Here majority of people live outside the capital, so the typical transport is the car or the bus. Highways get very congested during rush hours due to all the commuters coming also from the boarder’s Countries (France, Belgium an Germany).
- Typical house and street nearby
- School, nursery or other education facility
Here there are pictures of a primary school and of a kindergarten (covered in snow). All schools (public or private) have very nice sport facilities and playgrounds.
- Market, supermarket or other shopping outlet
In Luxembourg there are big supermarkets and also little shops, bakeries and butchers above all. The pictures refer to the apples’ harvest in a public orchard where we go each September with the kids.
Luxembourg is very green, with many woods and fields, and each town decorates the streets and the squares with flowers. Spring and summer it is a real explosion of colors and perfumes!
We really like our little Country, thanks for stopping by!! J
Be sure to check out the other neighborhoods around the world and pay a visit to Annabelle who had this great idea J
